Lilie Chouliaraki is the author of The Spectatorship of Suffering (Sage, 2006) and co-author of Discourse in Late Modernity (EUP, 1999) She has published in numerous books and journals such as Discourse and Society; Visual Communication; Social Semiotics; Linguistics and Education and Journal of Language and Politics.
