Forskningsområde
Film og mediehistorie, specielt fiktion og dokumentarisme i teoretisk, æstetisk og historisk perspektiv. Aktuelle og igangværende forskningsprojekter: Medier og demokrati i netværkssamfundet (MODINET), herunder især Virkelighedens fortællinger. Dansk tv-dokumentarisme 1951-2001. Forsker desuden i Europæisk mediekultur.
