Rhetorical strategies on the World Wide Web
The aim of this research project is to analyse business communication strategies used on the Internet from a textual and rhetorical perspective. A comparative study of corporate web sites and their corresponding corporate brochures will be undertaken with the aim of describing and delimiting prototypical features of digital communication and to determine whether new, document reading, writing, and design styles are being generated by the transfer from the traditional to the new medium.
