Which challenges do the ‘new’ media of the network society create for the ‘old’ media, specifically the public service broadcasters? How is Danish radio and television being affected by digitalization as well as commercialisation? And, how may the public service media position themselves in the context of an increasingly diverse range of interconnected media?

The theme is coordinated by Professor Frands Mortensen, and includes seven research projects (all being reported in Danish).
