Media in Everyday Life

Today, the media constitute the most important link between individual citizens and major social institutions. Through their content as well as their form, media feed politics and culture into daily life. But how, specifically, are the media contributing to everyday perceptions of politics? What are the potentials and limitations particularly of new, interactive media for political communication, cultural activity, and aesthetic expression?

The theme is coordinated by Professor Klaus Bruhn Jensen, and includes nine research projects. See brief descriptions of the projects, or download longer project outlines in PDF format.
